It’s one thing to “drink the Kool-aid”, it’s another to push it I.V. I get taken to task, (often), for being a “ONLY FOX” kind of guy. If you’ve followed me, (attentively), for more than a day or two you’ll note that stories from Fox make up <10% of my posts. I've made posts from materials from RT, Vox, Slate, HuffPo and more. That was the lede.

The part that tickles my pickles is that I get poked for doing that by people who depend on only one or two sources, (oft as not, Comedy Central is one), where the news, (real, fake or somewhere in between), is LESS "news" than rhetoric. Talking points. Mantra. That was the open to the block.

If you SERIOUSLY BELIEVE the "truth" you're drinking / shooting, good on you. BUT! Have the good sense to check your argument against multiple platforms! I believe the thing I believe. I'm not asking you to change your mind. I'm telling you that there has YET been a coin minted with only one side. You might not realize it, or think it or believe it but I actually DO read / listen to both sides of every issue I address. I HEARTILY recommend that you do the same. Because there is just too much of it out there. Way too much. So much that, even if there WAS a basis in fact, months, even years ago, those facts may be 180 degrees out of line with the reality of today. This minute. Now.
