In MY, (NEVER), humble opinion…I have NOTHING against ANY person who, through their own intellect, effort, dedication and a little luck becomes a millionaire, billionaire or trillionaire. None. Whatsoever. Keeping in mind that, where millions go, scandal follows.

Look, I don’t CARE who they may or may not have slept with, are sleeping with or are trying to sleep with, as long as it’s consensual by both adult parties and there is no violence involved. When they go home at night and close their doors, it should be the same as when I get home and close mine.

Tell you another thing? If I want another location, (a’la “HQ2”), I should pick and choose that site based on many factors and I WHOLE HEARTEDLY believe that it is WRONG in the Spirit of goodwill to have to offer “special taxes” to attract said biz. PERIOD. While it might be nice to have an “HQ2” in your neighborhood, (and yes, you will grab some tax revenue), I believe it to be a decision NOT based on some “special tax status” but on the overall availability of a workforce that can be dedicated to the corporate mission, the availability of land that isn’t going to flood or fall into a sinkhole and that has the infrastructure IN PLACE to support the creation and maintenance of said “HQ”.

CORPORATE welfare costs us, the taxpayer, more than all of the other social programs combined and it’s TIME for it to STOP. Don’t even get me started on agricultural subsidies!

YOU have a company? COMPETE. That’s YOUR job. Ours is to get up in the morning and go to work. You do your part, WE the PEOPLE will do ours.
