• Here we go again. As we get closer and closer to peak election time, the Democrats are busy scraping and bowing to any special interest group they can to hang onto power. The latest attempt comes from Rep Bennie Thompson (Miss) who says that the group recruiting Somalis in America doesn’t “represent any danger to this homeland“. Nevermind that we as many as 40 Somalis have been recruited by Al Shabaab, a Somali based terror group. Indications are that at least 15 have been killed in battle; 25 are unaccounted for.

“No danger..”  Tell that to the 3000 people that lost their lives on 9/11; an attack that was carried out by 19 men. If those 25 manage to get back into this country, no doubt the body count will much higher.

• And, in the category of “how the hell did she get elected”, Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) is ignoring facts and spouting nonsense again. At a hearing of the House Committee on Homeland Security today, chaired by Rep Peter King (R-NY), which was focused on Al-Qaida and affiliated groups recruiting Muslim-Americans, she decided she wants hearings on “right-wing extremists ;  ideologues who advocate violence and advocate, in essence, the terrorizing of certain groups,” Jackson Lee said.

This is the same woman who still thinks there is a North and South Vietnam.

‘Nuff said.

• A terrorist attack at Ft. Hood has been thwarted with the arrest of an AWOL soldier, Pfc Naser Abdo from  Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Firearms and bomb making material were found in his hotel room by FBI agents. He had attempted to purchase firearms from the same gun dealer used by Major Nidal Hassan for the attack at Fort Hood in Nov, 2009. In 2010 this same soldier had wanted to declare conscientious objector status as a Muslim.

For some inane reason, people seem to think that just because you are born in the US, or become a naturalized citizen that you love this country. And it is such a shock to these fools that people would actually take the oath to become a citizen and not mean it. Explanation: They want to kill us and will do anything that will enable them to easily do so, including lie, deceive or adopt the All- American persona.

This blind side to terrorism is why we are constantly being surprised by attacks and why we are not as vigilant as we should be. The terrorists have it over on us;  they’ve figured it out. To many Americans taking a loyalty oath is like a baptism; to them it washes away all sins and instills one with all the love and loyalty to this country that is just waiting to come to the surface as one takes the oath. No, it doesn’t.

Al-Qaida and affiliated groups recognize this attitude and are taking full advantage of it in their recruitment of more soldiers for jihad against us and the rest of Western civilization.

In this case WYSIWYG doesn’t apply.

Ronald Reagan said it best: “Let us be frank. Evil still stalks the planet. Its ideology may be nothing more than bloodlust; no program more complex than economic plunder or military aggrandizement. But it is evil all the same. And wherever there are forces that would destroy the human spirit and diminish human potential, they must be recognized, and they must be countered.”
